What is the treatment for cataract ?

  • The only treatment for cataract is its surgical removal.
  • Extra Capsular Cataract Extraction (conventional technique)

Can cataract be treated with Medicines, Yoga or eye exercises ?

There is presently no medical treatment,Yoga,eye exercise that will prevent cataracts or reverse them once they develop.

 

What is Micro phaco technique and it’s advantages ?

Microincision Phacoemulsification is a procedure in which the cataract is removed with a sub 2 mm incision and a foldable micronicision lens is implanted though it. Advantages of Phacoemulsification:
